Droids

The Brawns:

Description:

  • Scans the outside of the ship. If it sees the player he bursts into the station wall and chases the player. Once it breaks into the station, the players suits auditory functions break and the player can hear nothing, adding to the scare factor. Limited to only the windows and outside of the station.
  • Lobster-like structure
  • Floats

Abilities:

  • Can chase the player.
  • Can break the environment around it on purpose.





The Sentry:

Description:

  • Scouts the interior of the ship for the player. When the player is found, the Sentry alerts the BRAWNS who then chases/kills the player. Limited to the interior of the station.
  • Shaped and influenced like a seashell. The separate pieces can extend, if threatened by a foreign presence, and can block the player from moving forward.

Abilities:

Magnetically attaches to certain surfaces.





The Immobilizer:

Description:

  • Biped, shaped and influenced by a crab-like structure.
  • Walks/rolls around

Abilities:

  • It immobilizes the player momentarily
  • It can morph into other forms, when needed, much like a crab sheds its legs if needed.

The Brawns:  

  • The top version is called the "Bull" mode. This mode is the strongest version of the droid. It is slower and less agile than the other version. The other version is called the "Claw." It can pursue the player much faster and is much more agile than the other mode. Its body is much like a lobster's tail. It folds and bends to allow the droid to "swim" through space/the station.

The Sentry:  

  • This droid is mobile only on certain surfaces, like exposed metals inside the station. It magnetically attaches to that surface and moves along it. The top mode of the "Sentry" is the default (no-threat) mode. The middle version is the more alert mode (for when it sees the player or is alerted to the player's presence. The third mode is only engaged when the player is exposed. This mode is to block the player from escaping while it alerts the other droids of intruders. This version was inspired from a shell.

The Immobilizer: 

  •  This droid can, much like a crab, shed its legs if needed. It has 3 modes (Normal, "Crab", Sentry). The Normal mode is its default mode. The "Crab" mode is achieved when the droid separates its torso for faster mobility, meaning it can chase the player around faster. The Sentry mode is only temporary; this droid can't stay in Sentry mode forever.






Aliens

General Alien: 

Typical alien the player encounters. Can't go through walls.




Phantom:

Can go through walls and chase the player into danger. 




The Poltergeist:

The strongest and healthiest in well lit / energized places. Once it meets the player, it stalks them from behind the player and makes them panic. It wats for the player to energize the local section of the station in order to possess the Player's HELPER ROBOT and make it hide. This leaves the player open to attack and must fend for themselves. (Seek oxygen refill stations, regulate electricity and lights, etc)
